Bape x case study
Ok… So… This chair isn’t very cool, personal opinion.
But I was thinking about more than just the chair here… The fact that Bape started more than 20 years ago in a tiny, no name shop in Tokyo and is now massive is one thing… But to have a following of people/consumers that will buy any product you put your hand to is another story altogether. Some call it respect, some would call it power. I say it’s amazing!!
I can barely sell shirts and hoods but bathing ape could sell trash. Like, actual trash. They would put their logo on it and brand it with camo and sell it for $200USD!
